March 25-27, 2015 the new Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg will host the annual St. Petersburg Technical Fair (PTFair) to gather leading Russian and foreign enterprises.
The PTFair is referred to by specialists as the Russian analogue of the world-renowned Hannover Messe and it is not by accident. The St. Petersburg Technical Fair traditionally encompasses the most relevant areas of the market, such as “Metallurgy. Casting”, “Metalworking”, “Mechanical Engineering”, “High Technologies. Innovations. Investments (HI-TECH)”, “Compressors, pumps, valves and accessories”, “Non-metallic materials”, “Services for enterprises”. Thus the companies are getting the real opportunity to cover the whole manufacturing process, reduce expenses and save time on dozens of business trips.
In terms of rapidly changing market conditions the Russian companies require to showcase achievements and prove their high status and readiness to develop domestic production more than ever before. The PTFair will provide its exhibitors with these opportunities and gather developers, manufacturers and consumers at one venue.
The exhibition will also feature a diverse business programme aimed to address the issues of the real economic sector. In order to intensify innovative developments at the enterprises, the exhibition “High Technologies. Innovations. Investments (HI-TECH)” will feature the contest “The Best Innovation Project and the Best Scientific and Technological Development of the Year” founded in 1998 by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation. The contest is traditionally backed by the Federal Research Centre for Projects Evaluation and Consulting Services (FRCEC).
In 2104 the PTFair celebrated its tenth anniversary and proved its status of the main industrial trade show in the Russian North-West. The Fair hosted 539 exhibiting companies from 19 countries all over the globe and more than 6,800 trade visitors.
In 2014 the St. Petersburg Technical Fair became UFI approved, which means one of the most significant achievements in exhibition business that guarantees compliance with the highest international standards. Earlier before this year the PTFair has become the RUEF member and undergone through several exhibition audits proving high quality of its organisation.
The St. Petersburg Technical Fair will coincide with AUTOPROM Russia Exhibition and Conference, as well as well-known international trade shows BLECH Russia (technologies and equipment for sheet metal working), Fastener Fair Russia (fasteners and technologies), Automechanika St. Petersburg (car spare parts, automotive components and equipment for car technical maintenance). Co-location of these events is sure to give rise to synergy effects for all participants and visitors.
